The Knight in the Orde of Orange Nassau and the father of the foundation with a big heart. He is Director of Benevia Insurance, Heinenoord Holdings, Board Member of Dutch Association of Authorized Insurance Company (NVGA) in The Netherlands. Due to his infinite passion for sports, he is also the Chairman of SV Heinenoord and co-owner of Robey Sportswear, the dominant sportswear company in the Netherlands. He has a sport loving family with all his family members actively participating in the activities at SV Heinenoord.
Sir Arie and his family has been making generous contribution to the foundation since it was established. Most of the sports equipment donated by the foundation to different teams and individuals came from SV Heinenoord and his family. All these is due to his fatherly love for the founder whom he also sponsored for the Masters of Science degree in the Netherlands. After hearing the founder’s story, the war that happened in Northern Uganda and the current sport’s situation, he picked up the interest to work with this foundation to help sports talent in Northern achieve their dreams through Education and Sports.
