Why Computer Literacy?

In today’s world, computer literacy is no longer optional—it’s essential. Young people in Northern Uganda face barriers to digital access, limiting opportunities in education, employment, and entrepreneurship. Nyero Foundation’s Computer Literacy program empowers learners with the skills they need to thrive in the digital era.

Impact So Far

Dozens of young people have already been trained under this initiative, with many leveraging their skills to pursue higher education, find jobs, or support entrepreneurial ventures. Access to digital literacy has not only improved confidence but also broadened career opportunities.

Looking Ahead

Our goal is to expand access to computer literacy by partnering with schools, training centers, and community hubs. By doing so, we aim to create a digitally skilled generation that is ready to compete and succeed in the global economy.

Through computer literacy, we are building a bridge to opportunity, innovation, and empowerment for Uganda’s youth.
