Currently in Primary Six, Joseph lives in Custom Corner with his 21-year-old elder sister, who works at a local bakery. Despite her modest income, she has taken on the responsibility of caring for both Joseph and their younger brother. Thanks to Nyero Foundation Scholarship, Joseph’s sister no longer bears the full burden of school fees. This support has brought much-needed relief and has helped Joseph continue his education without interruption. In addition to his academic pursuits, Joseph is a passionate footballer. Since joining the Kumalo Sports Academy, he says his football talent has improved tremendously, giving him not only joy but also a strong sense of discipline and teamwork.
