at empowering talented young people, especially footballers in Northern Uganda to become economically self-reliant. The programme supports youth through various income-generating activities such as brick laying, poultry keeping, chapatti and Rolex vending, tailoring, knitting, and more. These activities help the youth to earn a living while using their skills productively beyond football. Each youth receives interest-free startup capital to begin a small business. The funds are later refunded and recycled to support more members within the group. This revolving system promotes sustainability and shared responsibility among the youth. In addition to financial support, beneficiaries are trained in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and basic business skills. These trainings help them manage their ventures effectively and make informed financial decisions. So far, the programme has directly supported 23 talented youth across Northern Uganda, offering them a chance to build a future beyond sports. Many have started thriving small businesses that are improving their livelihoods and contributing to their communities. Through this initiative, The Foundation is helping to turn talent into opportunity and passion into purpose for the youth of Northern Uganda.
